Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II 1926-2022

It is with great sadness that we acknowledge the death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. Our thoughts are with her family at this sad time.
God Save the King.
There will be a formal tribute to Queen Elizabeth at the Village Cross.
Informal tributes are welcome outside the WI Hall.
The Parish book of Condolence will be open for personal thoughts, on:
Sunday 11th – St John’s Church, 12:00 to 1:30pm
Monday 12th – WI Hall, 9am to 1:30pm
Tuesday 13th – WI Hall, 6pm to 7:30pm
Wednesday 14th – WI Hall, 10am to 12:00 midday
Saturday 17th – WI Hall, 4pm to 5pm

Ulgham Jubilee Weekend

Saturday 4th June
Plant Sale 10-12 am at Manor Court
Duck Race at Meadows 2pm start. Free entry. Collect your duck from 1.30 pm at Ulgham Grange Ford lay-by. Very limited parking so if possible please walk down.
Cricket Club Jubilee Feast 6 pm. Bar, food, live music. Tickets still available Amy 07928966920. Final numbers by Wednesday.
A celebratory Firework will be set off later on the Saturday evening.
Sunday 5th June
Picnic in the Park (playing field) Free event 2.30pm onwards.
Bring your own picnic. Tea, coffee, juice, ice cream and cake provided. Don’t forget your chairs! Cricket club bar open. Variety of fun activities and Fancy Dress competition.
2.30-3pm Live band
3pm – Fancy dress judged
3.15-3.45pm – Steel band
4-4.30pm – Steel band
4.45-5.45- Live band
Boules competition will be open to all and ongoing throughout the afternoon.
Help needed please to:
- decorate the village with bunting and streamers – meeting Friday 10am at WI hall.
- set up the playing field – meeting Sunday 10am at park.
