The average incoming speed (towards the sign) monitored was 20.84 mph
% travelling < 30 mph was 94.36%
% travelling 31 mph – 35 mph was 4.76%
% outgoing (towards Morpeth) under 30mph was 93.74%
% outgoing (towards Morpeth) 31 mph – 35 mph was 5.26%
As well as the statutory compensation outlined in the official Northern Powergrid Storm Arwen site here, local residents have been asking about compensation claims for other expenses incurred during the power cut and how those without internet connections would go about making such a claim. Expenses might include the purchase of a gas stove or gas heater for example.
This was recently raised at the Parish Council meeting on Monday 20th December and the following contact details were provided by a local resident for those wishing to make written claims for such ‘reasonable ‘expenses:
